Crochet

I crocheted a few items for my niece's 2 year old daughter, I made a doll granny afghan, I sewed a pillow and pillow case, and I crocheted a Moses basket and blanket for her to carry her doll baby in.

Crochet shawls

I've been crocheting shawls lately, found some new patterns I like. Made several for mom. The pink one is unfinished, but the peach one is done. I like the color of the yarn, it is called "Peaches" and has all those pretty as a peach color changes. It's a free pattern on Ravelry named  "South Bay Shawlette". The top pattern is also free on Ravelry, named "Amorous".

Felt Bunny Pins 2017

I made these felt Bunny pins for Easter to sell at the senior shop. I got the foam flowers at the thrift shop for hardly any cost, and they worked perfectly to display each pin. Already have sold two of them!  The bunnies are about 2 inches.

Ready to sell at the senior shop

I made some garlands to sell at the senior shop, scottie dogs and hearts.   I thought they would be cute décor for baby room or anywhere...I used an old wooden hanger and glued some little wooden spools (bought at the craft store) around it ....made a pretty good display to take to the shop.

I crochet the tiny flowers in white thread and then paint them with watercolors. I then make them into pins/brooches. I've made six and have sold 4 so far at the seniors shop I belong to. I had them ready for Mother's Day.

Still dreamin at the window.....

Some of us are still dreaming of dolls and toys, no matter our age!

Fairy house

I don't think I posted a photo of this project I did as a fair entry last October. I had the most fun creating this Fairy House out of a wooden tea box and various other items. But, alas, it did not win a ribbon at all. Here it is under construction, I'm a messy crafter!

Saroyan Scarf

I finished this knit scarf recently. It was a KAL (knit along) with a group I belong to on Ravelry.  This is a free pattern on Ravelry.."Saroyan Scarf"  It had a couple of new stitches for me, so a good learning pattern.
