Made a tiny crochet teddy bear
Made two doll size miniature afghans, one on the right is a ripple pattern, (that is a Barbie doll sofa they are on)
Made these felt Christmas fawn ornaments for family, friends, and co workers (also made the felt dog for myself). I got the inspirations for these online, (http://myfelt-carla.blogspot.com.br/)
Made this little crochet Christmas mouse from pattern by Sharon Ojala,
This is a project I entered in the fair last fall and won first place. The theme was "My Favorite Fair Scene" and I chose exhibits. I did this in miniature, I made everyting except the scrapbook pictures of pumpkins and sun flowers, I even made the baskets. The height of the side of the frame is about 14 inches. So even though I haven't posted often I have been creating!

Barbie find
I found a cute little folding Barbie house at Goodwill By the Pound yesterday for a dollar. I haven't been there for ages, especially since all that's going on with mom and DH and I were both sick about a month ago....so anyway. I googled the bottom picture ..It's a Barbie Princess Charm School playset dorm room. I see I'm missing a few pieces. It has year 2010 on the bottom.

Lastest craft project: Barbie Hatboxes
Supplies
Paint anywhere you don't want brown to show.
I printed Barbie logo on scrapbook paper for the cover.
Scrapbook paper to cover sides. I found heavier paperworked better for sides (not cardstock, cardstock worked
well for top and bottom)
I added pink flowered tissue paper for the inside (purchased at Dollar Tree). I think they turned out kinda cute!

Book Sale!

I recently went to an annual book sale and found these three beauties! I love fashion books, and this one spotlights five designers. One very interesting one is Adrian, he designed for movies and later had his own fashion line. He was from 40's and later. The Barbie books shows clothing made for Barbie from 1959 til 1967, the details and accessories for her were amazing. And the jewelry book has scrumptious photos of jewelry.

Not a success...
I'm entering a catagory in our local fair for doll clothes and I wanted some pretty shoes for a Barbie doll. I don't want to pay a fortune for the shoes and I don't like the plastic ones I have so I attempted to make shoes....but I wasn't successful. Barbie's foot is so darn small and she has no toes to speak of, and the shoes won't fit. And they don't look so good anyway. Oh well, I tried!
