Maybe next year

I only entered four things in our fair this year, but three of those did well, 2 first places and one second place. I didn't get my little room finished so I will save it for next years fair.

My crocheted doily got a first place blue ribbon. It is "Flying Comet" pattern from a 1949 book.

New Project

I started a new afghan ..a free pattern sheet from AC Moore, Simple Ripple Baby Afghan using Caron Simply Soft in Soft Blue and Country Light Blue. I'm still working on my doily, but I always have 2 or 3 thing going at once!

Crochet progress

We are helping Mom organize some of her "stuff", look at these neat books and patterns I found. She has lots of old patterns.

I have so many projects going, but look at this afghan on the foot of the bed. It is so pretty I may have to crochet this. This is in one of Mom's craft magazines from the 80's.

I have made some progress on my crochet bag from the Japanese pattern. I need to line it before I crochet the handle.
