New Doily

I've started a new doily, called Setting Sun from an old Coats & Clarks publication. It ends with ruffles at edges, which is new for me. I'm using #30 thread and a #10 steel hook.

If you enjoy embroidery and needlepoint you probably know Erica Wilson. And if you are my age you might remember her PBS television show. I did not know she passed away in December until reading Cathy of California's blog post. Cathy also includes a couple of youtube links of the tv show. Erica was a wonder and I am sorry to hear of her passing.

I'm still here

Haven't done anything "crafty" lately to post about. I've been reading a lot lately...enjoying Louise Penny's books. They are a series with some recurring characters. I have one more to go..the latest. I'm on the wait list for that one at the library.
