Tom and I went to Liberty Antiques Festival in Liberty, NC. We've been before and enjoy it a lot. It was a beautiful day for it, although it was hot..in the 80's. The festival runs tomorrow too. They have it twice a year, spring and fall. The next one is Sept 25-26. I bought some crocheted hot pads I would like to copy,a pink hanky, a vintage Hazel Bishop compact, and 2 old crochet books. The doily book is 1949 and the other is 1953.
Lovely purchases. Will you try to recreate the pot holders? They are so pretty.
Reminds me of the antique/flea market they have in Wytheville every year on Labor Day. I went for the first time last year and plan to go back again this year as well.

It looks like you had a wonderful vacation below. I hope your mother enjoyed her time with you both. I love the photos of the antique trunks!
