I went to the yearly book sale today, done by The Shepherd's Center. Proceeds go to help seniors. I always enjoy going. I take my list of books I don't have by certain authors and search the paperback section. I like to look at the art section as well, and this year I found a great book titled "Rings, Symbols of wealth, power and affection" by Diana Scarisbrick. It was a great buy for only $2.00! I scanned a couple of pages to show you the georgeous photos. And lots of info on the history of rings and how they were used. I didn't know this author, but a little internet reading tells she has many books on jewellry and is pretty well known in her field. I would love to have all her books!

Hi Barb,
I didn't know there was a GW that charged by the pond. Is it that new one on Peter's Creek?
Yes, that's the one.One entrance is regular GW & other is by the lb. I think it is stuff that didn't sell, you have to dig thru stuff because it is just dumped together. I don't look at clothes, just glassware and VHS movie tapes. And there is a Salvation Army Thrift on same road in KMart shopping center,
