Have you seen this?

I found this neat potholder pattern on is very functional and the technique or stitch makes it so thick you don't have to make two layers. The free pattern is on= blogs.the, under her crochet section. And look at the crochet book I found at Dollar Tree! I have been admiring these patterns online. They are large hotpads or just for decoration, very unusual patterns.

The potholder/doilies are beautiful. I like the way they framed one. I have often thought that I should frame some of mine and try to sell them. Most people don't want to use them on table tops any more but I bet they would use them for wall decor if the they are nicely framed.

I love your little saucers and Homer Laughlin is one of my favorite dish makers. I use a lot of plates on my walls for decor. Their just to pretty to hide in a cabinet or risk getting chipped by kids who are in a hurry to unload the dishwasher.

One day I'll post pics of my kitchen, all the wall decor in it are plates.
