I'm entering a catagory in our local fair for doll clothes and I wanted some pretty shoes for a Barbie doll. I don't want to pay a fortune for the shoes and I don't like the plastic ones I have so I attempted to make shoes....but I wasn't successful. Barbie's foot is so darn small and she has no toes to speak of, and the shoes won't fit. And they don't look so good anyway. Oh well, I tried!

They actually look wonderful. I'm so sorry they didn't work out.

Thanks Nancy. If I ever try again, I think the main thing would be to first get the sole of the shoe to match the arch or bottom of her foot exactly. Since I was using poster board, it wasn't flexible enough to shape and then Hold the shape.
