Have you seen this?

I found this neat potholder pattern on ravelry...it is very functional and the technique or stitch makes it so thick you don't have to make two layers. The free pattern is on= blogs.the tucker.com, under her crochet section. And look at the crochet book I found at Dollar Tree! I have been admiring these patterns online. They are large hotpads or just for decoration, very unusual patterns.

Doily

I finished this doily, need to block. The color is actually a pretty light blue. I'm still looking for the perfect pattern to enter in the fair this year. I have more to post, trying to catch up because I was without a computer for so long! This pattern was from Crochet Decorative Magazine #43, by Gisela Maier, don't know the year. Used Cebelia #20 Sea Mist Blue and a #10 hook.

Computer woes!

The computer was healed for only a little while, so I am using mom's to post this. I guess I'm in the market for a new puter....yuk! Anyway, I'm still here, just can't post very often......

Spendid day

We visited a pretty park near us today. It is fairly new and they plan to expand and add a Japanese garden and much more. The weather was so nice today, hope you enjoy these pictures!

Crochet

I blocked the small Vanity Fair doily a little more, it's from Hand Crochet by Royal Society Book No. 1 1943. It's a fun pattern and I think I will do the large one also. Started a new project..by Gisela Maier in Crochet Decorative Magazine #43. It's an older magazine. The Cebelia #20 thread is a prettier baby blue than it shows in the picture.
