See the pink and white potholder on middle row? That's one of my entries. It didn't win.
This was the Senior small crochet item category(yes, I'm old enough to enter the senior
category..LOL)
But my second entry in non senior small crochet item category won a
Blue Ribbon! I have never ever entered anything in the fair before so
I was happily surprised! I had crocheted this potholder once and really
liked it so I made another especially for the fair entry. I still think when
I go to pick it up, they will tell me there was a mistake and I didn't win!

Congrats and high 5 on the blue ribbong. I remember my first blue, I had entered several things that I just knew would get me blues but none of them did, I was happy with my reds but I wanted that blue so badly. I continued to search out my different projects and had totally given up on the blue when I got to my last project and there it was! I cried.
Thank you so much for the link to the pot holder, it's so pretty and I can't wait to do it in blue or yellow.
